Hey guys, I'm new to IVillage and the whole BBT thing. My DH and I have been TTC since about mid February of this year. After stopping birth control, my periods slowly became very irregular. So after not have a period for 3 months straight, I decided to pay a visit to my GYN. After blood work and an ultrasound, I was diagnosed with have Poly cystic ovaries. A conditioned which can cause periods to be very irregular or even infertility. So at the being of September I was started of Provera to get my periods started again and then on cycle days 3-7 I took Clomid. My GYN also wanted me to check my BBT so that we could see if these drugs would be enough to cause me to ovulate. Today is cycle day 28 and my GYN told me if no period by day 35 to test. If not pregnant but was positive for ovulation, then continue next month with the same regimen, if no ovulation this month to come back for further test. However, since I am new to this whole BBT thing, I am having trouble figuring out whether or not I even ovulated. Could someone please look at my chart and tell me what you think from your experience. I would hate to waste another month being on the same regimen of fertility medication if it's not even causing me to ovulate. Thanks ahead of time!

I think your chart looks good, you had a temp spike, and then drop so I would say that you did o. After you o, your temp dips, and then will go back up and stay up until the end of your cycle...or stay up up up

You might try posting this down under the chart questions section, many girls that chart and have much experience might see it there and look at your chart and you might get more replies that way.
I don't chart, I know a little bit about it, but not enough to really help. I did want to say that maybe you could make an appointment with your doctor and take your chart and see what they think---then they could adjust your meds if they think you need it.

Not much help I know..but sending you BFP vibes to you!

Angie, I'm no expert but it sure looks like you did O. There are two definite levels of temps there: I'd say pre- and post-O. Looks good! Good luck, and hope you get your BFP!
