Digital OPKs worth it?

I can't read the regular OPKs. I am taking clomid and started OPKs cd 12. Well, I got two lines. Initially , one line looked slightly lighter than the control line. But after just a couple minutes, it seemed the line was darker, like maybe one side of the line was comparable to the control line. So, was this is a surge or no? Too hard to tell, I think. I got this test result for two days in a row. So basically, I am basically left just as clueless as before I took the OPKs as to when I will O. My question is, has anyone used the digitals? They definitely seem easier to use. I am thinking of trying them starting tonight, but they are expensive. Has anyone gotten a smiley face and then Oed in the next day or so? Also, would 5pm or so be a good time to take an opk if I hold in my urine? I want to catch the surge and not miss it entireley. Thanks for any responses!

Different people do better w/different types. I know some tried the digital & never got a positive, but did on answer opks. Others think the digi opks are best. It is frustrating when the result isn't clear. I never got a true obvious positive on the ICs, but have had great success w/the cbe regular opks (non-digi) where the test line shows up before the control line & is almost twice as dark.
