Orgasm that is. I read a couple of articles that suggest that women should avoid having orgasms after ovulation until AF comes (hence you are not pg) or 2-3 weeks after they get a BFP. The thought is that theoretically the contractions in the uterus caused by orgasm could disrupt the early implantation process.

What do you think?

I read that orgasm can harm a weak implantation, so as I'm 12 DPO, I'm abstaining for now. I also heard that sperm can cause uterine contractions, so I'm avoiding intercourse, too, for now. I'm probably being paranoid, but I'm 37, so I thought I'd be extra careful. Apparently, in normal, healthy, low-risk pregnancies, there's no problem. This is from the book Getting Pregnant: What You Need to Know Right Now, which I'm finding pretty helpful (well, we'll see how helpful it actually is!).

Orgasm during BDing(after he orgasms) I've heard can really help the sperms make it into the cervix!

From one Kim to another...enjoy the fun you're having! I know too many women close to me who aren't getting prego because they're stressing out and forgetting that conception is a miracle even for fertile couples! Everything has to be just right, you know?

Please don't get me wrong..Im definitely not insulting those of you who going for it hell or high water. It's just that I've watched my two sisters go through this and it's amazing, but when they stopped being nutty about it they conceived! One after a year of trying and the other after 2 years of trying.

I think God has a definite plan for us. When we're being freaky freaks conception probably isn't healthy...after all, we need to be able to nurture that little miracle growing inside of us, right?

Much respect for all of you here...sounds like we've got a population of women in good relationships, with great hubby's, and awesome outlooks! Cheers!
