I've been charting for two months now, and I'm pretty regular in my cycles.

Hi! I'm kind of in the same boat. I've never used OPKs but when I do chart everything is running about the same and I'm very regular. We've been trying for this our 4th month with no success just a chemical in October. We always BD around my O date and never seem too get it right. I think there are so many things that have too come together that other then BD and keep an eye on your cycle there is nothing really you can do. If I were you I'd wait a couple days and then test. That's great that you are late...and there is always hope! Have a Happy Holiday and let us know what you find out!

hugs and lots of love!

Tracking your temps is a sure way of knowing when you O'd. You can't know ahead of time, but once you O, your temps will go up. If I hadn't been charting my temps on the cycle that I got pregnant, I would believe myself to be about 9 1/2 weeks pg, when in fact I am only 8! I O'd late, and the only reason I know that for a fact is by looking at my temps. I used to always O around day 14 but that cycle, for some reason, I didn't O till CD 24!

I have a question about charting and knowing what day you O. What does your doctor say to that? Usually you get a due date based on your LMP, what is yours based off of??

The doctors usually base themselves on a normal cycle which is your typical 28 day cycle. But we all know that its not always that simple... When I went to see my doctor, as soon as I knew I was pg, he said that my due date was July 1rst (once again, based on a normal cycle) but I know that my cycle was long and that I only O'd on CD 24, which moves my date further to July 10th. I explained this to the doctor and I am going for an ultra sound next monday to determine my real date, which will probably be my date, since I know what kind of cycle I had, since I took my temps. When peolpe arent sure about their due date, the best thing to do is to get an ultrasound done between weeks 8 and 12 of your pregnancy. Its pretty accurate then... Hope this answers your question!

I so understand that...I took a HPT about 2 days ago and got a BFN but now today still no sign of AF comming tommorrow and my breasts are itchy and feels like bubbles in my tummy.

Usually my tummy is bloated and but it is as flat as a board. I would say go for it and try an HPT and just keep it in ur mind ur not that way no disappointments((well it helps me))

Good Luck!
