Ebay maternity shopping...obsessing!!!!

I think I need to find something to do so I am going to go read a book to take my mind off ***obsessing*** because for the past hour or so I've been poking around on Ebay looking at maternity clothes that I am envisioning buying....UGH!!!! I have this bizarre feeling that I am pg. but I could be just talking myself into it.

I am pretty sure I o'd on or around the 9th...and we bd'd on the 5th,6th (more like the 7th since it was after midnight) and again on the 9th. Then on the 16th and 17th I had some light pink spotting...and back cramps/lower ab. cramps. This could all be leading up to AF (should be early to middle of next week) but I just have this bizarre feeling that it's true. Before my period I usually am weepy but I haven't been this time - and no random zits on my face either.

I've been obsessing over how I'll tell dh, family, friends...I even tested today like a doofus - not even first am urine either - DUH - stupid I know. Waste of $12.99 - I have this sickness of having to test if there's one in the house!!! So today I went out and bought another box (has 2 in it this time) and I think I will test tomorrow - again, probably stupid....but I'm hoping that it would read + and then I can run to get a blood test (dh finds those most reliable so I want to be able to say it DEFINITIVELY to him!)

Thanks for listening to my obsessive ramblings :-) If anyone's got any good books please pass them on - good for taking your mind off it for awhile??!!!!

You're not alone. AF is still here (cd5) and I've already done the pregnancy calendar for "if" it happened this cycle. Imagine how much I'll be obessing that during the 2ww!!

I'm sorry I can't offer any distracting thoughts or books for you, but I can join you in the insanity! LOL!

I'll also send you some positive vibes and I look forward to seeing your BFP announcement very soon!!!

Just thought I would give you my 2 cents......

I am not even pregnant yet and I already order maternity clothes of e-bay. pair of jeans and 3 shirts and (don't laugh) I even bought some baby boy clothes. It was a very good deal, and they are so cute..LOL...

Hubby said that enough until I am pregnant and find what sex the baby is.

I have a 3 year old daughter so if I have another girl I won't need to buy anything.

I'm going to have to check out the ebay maternity clothes!! I can't wait until I get to wear that stuff.

My AF is due Monday or Tuesday and I haven't had my usual symptoms either...weepy and zits, just like you! Despite that I still don't think this is the month. I guess I can't really complain since it's only our 2nd cycle, but it would still be nice!

Since we are TTC our first DH is going to be with me when I test...if AF doesn't show, of course. DH is in training 3 hours away so we only see each other on the weekends. That means we won't test until the 26th or 27th. That day seems so far away! If AF shows, though, I guess we won't have to worry about that.

If we get a BFP we will only tell our family and then tell our friends around Christmas. That will be SO hard. My girlfriends will all know something is up when I don't have my usual beer on Saturday night! The guys won't even notice, but we women pick up on that sort of thing, don't we?!

Thanks for listening! No one knows we are TTC, so it's nice to have someone to ramble with!

Hi Kim, I just wanted to say that I took a look at your chart and it looks a lot like mine. I have been worried about the high temps all the time. Do you know a reason that your temps are always higher than most of the charts that posted? I thought that maybe because I was on thyroid medication it made my temps higher. To me it looks like you o'd on cd19, but you haven't had the biphasic pattern that would definitely indicate an O per TCOYF. Good luck to you. I hope you get your BFP soon.

Oh yeah, also, when I was pregnant before my m/c I bought a lot of 9 items of maternity clothes from eBay and they are so cute! I am sad that I didn't get to wear them for that pregnancy, but I know I will soon get my BFP and have a sticky baby. EBay was great to shop from, so much cheaper than regular stores.

Ladies,

Wanted to add my 2 cents about obsessing. I have not gone as far as buying clothes, but you should see my "baby stuff" bookmarks on Explorer. It runs the gamut from preconception to maternity clothes to parenting sites. I also have bought MANY parenting magazines and I don't have kids yet

If you're all looking for a few good books, scroll down to the last section (Fun area) of the board and there's a book club link. Some nice suggestions there!
