Hi I'm new here so just wanted to see if anyone can shed some light .... I was diagnosed with stage 4 endometriosis 4 in a half years ago, I had a 6 cm bubble in my left fallopian tube at which point I had a Laparoscopy done, 3 weeks later it returned and my doctor suggested a Hysterectomy which I refused in hopes that I could have a child I was 32 then,my pain was so horrible that I had to have my left fallopian tube and ovary removed and my doctor told me that I should have no problems conceiving. today I am 36 and I'm in a long term relationship and went to my ob/gyn last april 2008 and opted to stop taking the pill. I have been trying to conceive the past two months with no luck and this month have opted to use a fertility monitor which if you do not conceive in three times of using it then you have fertility issues. My question is if I do not conceive do I have an option of having a Laparoscopy again to remove tissue? After my surgery in 2004 I did get pregnant in October of the same year but the baby didn't have a heartbeat and was not forming so I had to terminate. It's been 4 yrs and my periods are more and more painful every month. It has always been a dream to have my own child what are my options?? Please help. Thank You
Lily Lourenco
PS. I'm having a hard time with all the boards and abbreviations like (OPK, AF, TTC) I feel like I'm just dumb and go figure I work in the medical field.

Hi Lily!
I'm RA. I have endometriosis AND TWO beautiful children! I am having a much harder time trying for baby #3. I also have PCOS and realized that I do not ovulate on my own. This cycle is my first taking Clomid to help with that. I also take metformin, which helps. In addition to using your fertility monitor- I suggest temping and charting at somewhere like www.fertilityfriend.com. Lots of us go well beyond 3 months of trying, I think it is pretty normal.
