GEEZ! What a bunch of WOMEN!! I totally agree with Kim's message below. You know, I've been posting on this board since 1996!!! It has always been a place where I can find support, humor, positive attitudes - all that help me while working on "project baby". And now...the board format changes. BIG DEAL! There have been many tips posted to help everyone learn how to use it. I realize some ladies aren't computer scientists and it may take a little more time than others. But PLEASE KEEP YOUR COMPLAINTS OFF THIS BOARD!!! Email the ParentsPlace address if you want to complain about it! I'd much rather see postings from ladies who are seeking comfort, assistance with reading their charts, etc.

Bottom line....this board is about SUPPORT, POSITIVE ATTITUDES, HELP while we all try to conceive. So let's not forget that!

Sorry - just a little frustrated. I'll be back in a few days when everyone's done complaining.

Yeah, you're right. I complained once yesterday but mostly because I was upset cuz i thought everyone was leaving! I feel like there are a lot of hostile people right now and it isn't what we need...I apologize for being skeptical of change! Love you guys!

I think the "support" idea needs to go two ways here....

I believe so many of these "WOMEN" complained (myself included) because they felt so disconnected from the support of the board. Instead of an insensitive response, how about a "supportive" (as you have requested yourself), "patient" response from you.

There have been so many time where we, as a community have shared tremendous highs (BFPs) and devastaing lows (BFNs or miscarriages) - would you categorize that as an irrational "female" response? Of course not. We share or joys and frustrations because we feel connected and safe to voice our thoughts. I would like to not question that in the future.....if I stay on this board.

isn't being supportive listening to one's whining and complaining. We do it everyday whining about that stupid doctor or about how our husband/sister/mil insulted us? We have already been seperated by saying post somewhere else or "down there" like the post is unimportant. Thats why i left the other boards that do "top tens". You can only post here for this and there for that. If you are gonna support one you need to support all. And I don't recall anyone one's post in particular mention names. Lets not jump to conclusions or assumptions about one person post. But then again aren't we all here to support one another?

Excellent post, Becky - I *despise* it when a woman used derogatory language about her own sex. Sometimes, we are our own worst enemies. If being a woman means being assertive enough to voice my opinion, then count me in. Linda, I'm sorry you are tired of people whining about the board, but EVERYONE has his/her own valid opinions and can express them here as long as they aren't hurtful toward others. Stay away as long as you feel the need, and I hope you are less irritated by us when you return. Good luck to you.

I also am having a rough time with the new format. I have shopped around for other boards (like EZBOARD.com) and I guess with anything - change is hard.
