Can exercise really play a big part in TTC? I usually work out 3 days a week 30-45 min. 10-15 min. cardio and the rest weight training. Do you think this going to effect me too much? Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Kris, From what I'v read and heard exercise can be helpful as long as it isn't too intense(yours dosen't seem like it is over the top!) and your body is used to the exercise already. Starting a new exercise regieme right out of the blue probably wouldn't be a good idea with out starting out slow. This is just my opinion but that's what I've read. I'm sure someone here will have more info for you. Good Luck!!

Hi,

I do the exact same routine as you! I don't think it will negatively effect it though. I told my dr that we are ttc and she knew I was working out and she didn't say anything about it. She also specializes in infertility, so if she was worried about it she would have said something. It so good for you to do it though. It gets your body ready and limbers you up and tones those muscles that have to work extra hard when you are pg. So ask your dr about it, if you are really worried. But I think it is fine. As long as you aren't doing it too strenuously, everyday for like 3hrs. I think that could be too much. Hope this helps!

Exercise - as long as it's not too terribly strenuous or a shock to your system - is actually good for you while TTC. You're keeping your body in good shape, and the exercise can also help to relieve stress. It sounds like you've got a good workout regimen going on, nothing over the top, and hardly "Olympic training." I'd say keep it up, and good luck!

Kris,

I agree with everyone else. Exercise is good for the body so long as you don’t go overboard.
