exercise while ttc/possibly pregnant?

The doctors are still undecided to if I am pregnant or not. I have had 4 blood pregnancy tests and still they can't give an answer. My hcg levels are doubling every 48 hours, but they are still low so they will do an ultrasound in a week and hopefully we can know what is happening.

My question is though in the mean time can I still be doing my sit-ups and working out like normal. I am running 3-5 a few times a week and also lift weights. Should I be worried? I mostly did power walking with my first pregnancy so I am unsure of what is safe. I would only be like three or four weeks along (counting from first day of my last period). Any suggestions??

Thanks,
Megan

i've always been told that unless you are on bed rest...exercise is a good thing...especially in the 1st trimester...the little bean is so well protected that you could jump around and have it not affect the little guy.

Yeah, anything you do before pregnant, you can do while pregnant.

Last monday I was at a 5, then Wednesday at 25, then Friday at 44ish, and then Monday (two days ago) it was something like 125. I will go in for an ultrasound in about 5 days and hopefully we'll know for sure. They numbers are low, but they are increasing. I am trying not to get too excited, but we really want this baby.

How many dpo were you when these were taken?

I always have low numbers.
