Hello, I would stop using the B6 unless the doctor wanted you on it. If you take too much B6 it can work against you. I was thinking about taking it but, DH talked to his friend that is a Dr. and he advised not to take the pill but to drink V8 to let my body absorb what it needs. Your body will convert what it needs and allows the rest to pass. Where the pill is pushing your system to have more than needed. If you put yourself on it I would stay off of it till your doctor does b/w. You can always ask at that time and see what he thinks , and how much.
Hello, I am not sure about regular V8. I drink the V8 splash. I have one glass in the morning and one later on in the day. I sometimes spice things up with a frozen smoothie. You can find B6 in;
fruit like bananas, strawberries, cantaloupe, watermelon, pineapples,and grapes
veggies like red bell peppers, potatoes(sweet also), kale, onions, green peas, celery, eggplant, broccoli, carrots, etc.
fish (should get the wild caught not farm raise as the mercury is higher in farm raised) Cod, salmon, halibut, snapper
There are more out there but that is all I can remember. I try to include these in every meal I eat, hence the V8 splash which is easier. Oh, no biggie on butting in. I hope that this helps.
I drink it the whole time I do go down to just one cup after Oing. Just to make sure I get all the vits I can through food and drink. I do also take a pre natal vit daily along with a fish pill.
My GP said it wouldn't hurt to try it. Some studies have shown it helped and other studies have shown it does.
It didn't help me, so I stopped it by going from 100mg very day to 50 mg every day, then to 50 mg every other day, then once I got to AF I stopped taking it.
