Faint line info from my Dr.

I had my 4th m/c in August of this year. The doctor and I went over everything that could have been wrong, and nothing seems to be. So I asked her about these faint HPT's, because that's all I have been getting except when I had my DS. One day, two days faint lines, a week later still faint. Sometimes gone by the next day. I asked her if it was all in my mind, or was I really pg? She told me that my faint lines were true pregnancies, in that an egg implanted. In fact, I had an ultrasound with my last m/c and I had a sac and everything and then 4 days later I started AF, which another ultrasound showed was a m/c. She said a line indicates that the HCG hormone is in your body because the egg has implanted, whether it turns out to be from an impending miscarriage, chemical pregnancy or blighted ovum. The egg attached and it produced horomones that would be indicated on an HPT. She said RARELY, and I mean she stressed RARELY, will a true line during the allotted time show up if there was not something going on with egg implantation. She told me, the certifified testing freak, to relax and not test so early, but to wait until I actually missed an AF. She said while there is good reasons to find out as early as you can for certain treatment, like myself, that waiting until a missed period is still early enough for critical care. She didn't want me getting my hopes up only to be let down by another m/c again. Sadly she said that over half of all early pregnancies result in a miscarriage, which we wouldn't even know about if they didn't make tests where you could test so early, you would have just thought it was AF. So don't think your crazy if you see a faint line, it could grow into something darker, or it could be that that something happened in the implantation phase. May we all have the those healthy BFP's soon!
