Welcome today's featured member Julie. She is the board's Queen of the day!

Please ask her many questions. Ask her about her life goals, ttc, DH, favorite things etc... Get to know her. Ask what you will, be creative but not too personal. Julie is our Queen of the day!!! Let's make her feel like one :D

Hi everyone. I just wanted to let everyone know that I took this day of being the "featured member" knowing I had the day off from work and now as of this early afternooon I've been called in :-( They begged me to come in as someone called in and they are short handed and big project due by this Friday. I will answer as many q's as possible and will be able to log in when I get home, too busy today to do it from work. I am sorry everyone and I hope you understand but for the next 2 hrs. I will be able to take all q's. Thanks very much.

Ok, Nanci for you:

1. I ALWAYS scrunch the tp paper

2. I do have a daughter named Brooke but I gave her up for adoption when I was 17, but it's a very open adoption and I got to choose the parents when I was 6 mo. pregnant, they are the most wonderful people I have ever known! My daughter's know she's been adopted since she was 5 yrs. and in Dec. this year she will be 12! I was just too young to be a mom then (high school 11th grade), but I wanted her to have the best enriched, fulfilling life possible, I have no regrets and feel confident that I will meet her one day real soon b/c of the relationship I still have 12 yrs. later with the adoptive parents. They have sent pic's and letters to me since she's been born EVERY single year for 12 yrs. on Mother's Day and Christmas, that is my gift each year for myself to see what a beautiful young lady she has turned into. So, to answer your question, I always reply "yes" I do have a child, I didn't get to raise her but nonetheless, I am still her Birth Mother. I think this is why I've had such a longing to have another child and have such a nurturing nature about me when I'm around children.

3. We've only been "officially" trying just this cycle but not used protection since June this year

4. Favorite would have to be strawberries

Hi Tara,

1. Well this may seem lame but my best vacation was my honeymoon last Nov. 2002 to the Sandals Bahama's! It was absoultly amazing to me, the whole scenery, the ocean, snorkling, music and all the gourmet restarunts the island had.

2. The one place I'd LOVE to visit would be Italy, since my husbands family if from there, neither of us have been there actually so that would be a 5 yr. anniversary trip for sure!

OK let's see how you think - is the glass half full or half empty?

Sorry about the call in - hopefully they will make it up to you and let you have another day off.

Have a good day! sunny :)

Sunny,

Well, they will for sure give me another day off, I already demanded one for next week!

Ok, your question could go either way I guess, depending on the subject and question. I would say for me "half full" and I'll relate it to ttc, I think it's just the beginning for us and look at it like it's half full now but later it will be "filled" so to speak, or complete once we add our "addition" to it.

I look at this month of ttc again exciting not upset or disappointed like I was feeling last month. So my answer is half full for the reasons listed above and don't know if it makes sense but first thing that came to mind.

Julie

PS. Gosh that was hard so early in the morning before coffee!

Early? It's almost 11 here on the East coast!

I think you gave a splendid answer, it's healthier for us to be optomistic than pessimistic in our situations.

Hey girls, it's 11:00 a.m. and I am heading to the office----ugh...hate advertising sometimes! So busy with Chevy commercials right now my head is spinning! I will be logging back in this early evening, so please post my more q's as I will promise to answer them tonight when I get home, I think it's going to be a long day but should be home no later than 8:00 p.m. EST to check in.

Thanks to everyone's posts, this is a great way to know everyone and feel lucky to have been the featured member today--thank you.
