Please welcome Wednesday's featured member, Peggy! Ask away ladies. Get creative, but don't get personal. make Peggy feel like Queen for the Day!

SPECIAL NOTE:

Featured members for Tuesday and Wednesday are going to be a little different. Tuesday's featured member is Cherisse (maddiesmom_26). Please ask her questions as usual. However, I am posting the featured member folder for Peggie (diksea_gal) who is the Wednesday featured member now also. The reason is that Peggie can only answer questions at night, so we will post our questions for her Tuesday, she'll answer them Tuesday night, then we'll read her answers on Wednesday. Please, please take the time to post both ladies questions. Make Cherisse feel like the one and only Queen on Tuesday, and not like she's sharing her lime light. Take the time to post questions to Peggy even though she won't be answering. Thanks so much for all of your cooperation with featured members!!

Love & hugs,

Anne

Hi, Peggy. I hope you have fun being the Queen tonight. Man, are you going to be busy! Ok, here's my question:

If you could make one fairy tale or fable come true with yourself in it, which would you pick and why?

Have fun!

Hi Peggy!!! I hope you are having a great time at this! :-)

My question:

Describe in detail your dream vacation. Remember, money and time are no object, so you can go wherever you wish for as long as you wish!

Have fun, Queen Peggy!!

Going to answer all I can in one post so I apologize if its' long...

My Childhood Dream: (Jenniemadsen)

I guess it would have to be that I want to fly, as the pilot that is. I really wanted to fullfill it by joining the Airforce but that went out the window when I injured both my knees in one years time. I still think about it often. And in reality all I have to do is go and take flying lessons but my children come first when it comes to things so I will wait.

Fav. HighSchool Memory: (Misfitzita)

Oh goodness, I guess it would have to be my ex fiance Joe and his family. Took me forever to finally land him but 3 years before I was to finish college and we were to get married he was taken from me by the 'powers that be'

WHere did I grow up: (CL-Trattcliff)

I grew up in the New Kensington/ Lower Burrell Area of Pennsylvania, but I graduated from a high school near Greensburg for reasons beyond my control. From New Ken/Lower Burrell, I went to Greensburg, then to Mt. Pleasant, then off to college in Indiana PA, then I moved in w/ my now hubby & his family near Altoona, then back to Indiana. In 1996, hubby and I got married and moved to Maryland **BEST thing I ever did** we started out in Annapolis, moved north to Germantown then planted our roots in Frederick. Lets just say that ANYWHERE away from my family in PA is 100% better.

Lake or Ocean: (RobyAnne)

IF I have to chose I would have to say Lake. Lake Erie was a second home to us for vacations while growing up. But then I must say that I really don't have a 'background' of "Ocean" time to compare that too.

Relaxing Technigue: (Carebie9)

Probably would have to be filling my Jacuzzi Tub with the warmest water possible, adding bubbles, and lighting my berry candles and just vegging for at least 20 minutes.

One thing I would like to change: (lcinny)

Oh goodness, I'm just going to have to stay in reality and out of my past too much for this one. There were so many things growing up that I would love to go back and change but I know that doing any of that would mean NOT being where I am today.

So I would have to say that I would change the fact that I cut my hair off again. Yes silly I know.. but about 2 months ago now my hair was at it's LONGEST ever in my life and I chopped it off in haste. I miss it so much right now it's not even funny. What makes me miss it most is when I think of my aunt and the statement I told her about one day donating my hair for her to have a wig. While she has since passed I would still love to do that but have to wait even longer now that I just cut over 5 inches off my head.

Dream Car: (CL=connie)

A hunter green Mustang Convertible. Anything before 90 preferably. And for obvious reasons this is not a "family" car, but can be fun for when the children are older *L*.

Book & Magazine: (PattieCat)

My favorite book would have to be Caps for Sale on the childrens' end. Can't really say that i have a favorite adult book... not much reading time w/ kids on my part. My favoritemagazine is going to have to be Family Fun. I love getting that to find out all the "fun" things there is to do with the chidlren that we had no clue about.

MY DH: (KW9612)

I met DH my sophamore year in college in Indiana PA. A friend of mine wanted to go "down town" for dinner and we all went along (me & 2 girlfriends; my friend and 2 of his friends) At first I was interested in the other "silly me for falling for a BUTT in the service" and Dave *DH* was after my friend. We spent more and more time together in the next week or so and realized that it was US that should be together not the others. Our first "date" was a Alladin on Video in his dorm room. I knew he was the one becaause he didn't take advantage of me. It took 2 weeks for a kiss even. His proposal actually came one night way before my official ring when he gave me his ring and told me to hold this as his promise to me that we would be together forever, that was in OCT. I got my Diamond/Sapphire engagement ring for Christmas.

3 Parter from (Purrfectlilkitty)

Siblings:

Yes I have 3. An older sister who passed away from carbon monoxide poisoning when I was 13, a younger sister who is married to a 'butt' w/ 2 children, and a LOSER of a younger brother.

Pizza:

Yes I like pizza and my favorite is Hawaiian w/ Ham and Pineapple on a thin crust.

Fondest childhood memory:

Gonna have to say that I really 'don't' have one. But it's more just due to my past. Please do not feel bad for asking.

Connie: it's okay I didn't notice the typo.

Fairytale (doc2006):

Would have to say that my dream of Alladin has already come true. I have my prince/pauper, we have our castle and are raising our family. And somehow that "genie" just tends to make things happen & appear just when you lose hope.

Dream Vacation (maddiesmom):

To travel Europe: landing in Finland and Ireland for the longest time since that's our background. Then off to Greece, Norway, Denmark, Italy, and lending in Switzerland, before returning back to the states.

Recipe: Ladeefalc

Oh goodness...I 'bake' and cook so much when I have the time that is. And being a Pampered Chef consultant has increased my recipe knowledge beyond belief. But I guess my "FAVORITE" would have to be Chocolate Chip Cookies. It puts that perfect smile on my families face that you just can't beat it. As for the recipe, well I use the one on the back of the toll house bag for everything and just change the 'ingrediants" that I add to M&M's, or another form of "CHIP". If you would like a particular style of recipe please feel free to find me on AIM as DikseaPeg or email me at Peggie@Suomela.org and I will help you out.

Fav. Movie: (cotymomalex)

Pretty Woman... because that is really how I feel. I went from Rags to riches just by meeting my DH in shining armor. (Did I mention that he sold ALL his baseball card collection to pay off my credit card dept so that I could stay in college and graduate??)
