No, don't stop! I love dogs and could listen to stories about them for ages. I can't have one b/c I live in NYC and DH is allergic, blah blah blah so I like to live vicariously through real dog owners. Jasmine sounds adorable and sooo soft and cuddly. Does she have cute wrinkles all over like a sharpei?
Funny, my DH and I are also thinking of going to Germany for the World Cup. He's got family there, and we're World Cup fanatics. Not football fanatics, just the World Cup. I think it's the spectacle of it and how everyone in the world is joined by their love for the support. I wish more Americans were into it...
Thanks for your great answer!
Leslie
Jasmine has some wrinkles around her face...enough to make her VERY cute, but not so many that she gets the skin irritations that a full blooded Sharpei often has.
We're big soccer/football fans. DH is actually going to DC tonight for a game (we live in Virginia) and he's going to NY tomorrow for one! He's a MAJOR fan. I enjoy it too, but I'm not as nutty about it as he is. We both play in adult soccer leagues in the area. Although I've decided to stop now that I'm TTC. Now I just take my dog for nice long walks and got to the gym :-) Anyway, DH is very involved, VP of his league, etc... It's a nice outside work/home activity for him to do and he just loves it. We work together right now so we spend A LOT of time together and we've found it's important to have our own personal activities. As I type this I can hear him on the phone just down the hall!!!
Anyway, again I ramble :-)
You're welcome to come visit my little Jasmine any time :) You can sprinkle baby dust on me while you're at it....woooohoooo!!!

This was C5 for me, and while I knew that it might take some time, for some reason when it's your body and you don't get pg right away, you feel like there's something wrong with you. Esp. when everyone else around you seems to get pg the first time. Anyway, my point is, it's normal to take a while. I don't know how long you've been trying, but don't lose hope!

If you could throw a party and invite all your friends here at the TTC boards, would you throw an Elegant Tea Party, a Slumber Party or a Giant BBQ?
Have fun!

However, so that we could all talk, laugh, be silly, be sad, share stories, etc...I think we would need ALL night. Therefore, I would do a combo...is that allowed?! I would have everyone over for a BBQ - I make a yummy Beer Can Chicken. But I can do the non- caffienated, non-artificial sweetener soda version since we're all TTC! We'd also have veggie kabobs and everyone would be welcome to bring a side dish...I love pot luck. It's so fun to see other people's yummy creations. Oooohhh...we'd also have my homemade lemonade. And then we'd have a big slumber party and watch re-runs of A Baby Story!!! LOL! Actually, I'd be sure to have some fun activities that DID NOT revolve around TTC because I'd like to be able to get to know everyone outside of their TTC lives...the women here just really seem like people you'd want to get to know! This sounds like so much fun!
Oh yeah...I'd have DH come home in the AM and make us pancakes. Chocolate chip pancakes are his specialty, but he could make other kinds for the TTCers too!
By the way Miss Rita...your chart really IS amazing! I hope we see a BFP from you soon. I would have broken down and tested by now!
Cheers!

I have an addition to my dream house...a nice reading nook that is cozy but big enough for my dog and me to curl up in, look out the window, day dream, read a book, etc...
I had one of those in our old house and I really do miss it.
Cheers!
Lori
