(msfitzita) Welcome today's featured member Kristin. She is the board's Queen of the day!
Please ask her many questions. Ask her about her life goals, ttc, DH, favorite things etc... Get to know her. Ask what you will, be creative but not too personal. Kristin is our Queen of the day!!! Let's make her feel like one :D

I really hope I'm able to pass along the love and respect I have for my religion to my child. My parents did such a good job teaching me about God, and getting me involved in the church (through choirs) and it's still a huge part of my life today because of the foundation they gave me. I know how much it has meant to me to have that -- and how rich it has made my life. I hope I am able to do he same for my children.
As for bad habits, we're both TERRIBLE procrastinators!! If we can get around to it, I hope we can teach our children not to be the same (LOL!).
Thanks for your questions -- I hope you're doing well!

I was wondering if when you have children are you going to try to have a completly natural
delivery or if the labour is to hard would you consider an epidural (spelling?)?
If you and DH had a honeymoon where did you go and was so romantic you just couldn't believe it?

Here are your questions:
1. What did your wedding dress look like?
2. What made you and DH decide to TTC?
3. What is your favorite food?
4. Do you have siblings?
5. Will you work after the baby is born?
Claire
Enjoy!

P.S. We really should get together since we live so close! I actually go down that way for dogfood at Rens on Trafalgar Rd about once/month or so. Maybe we could time it with that?

Now, the idea of a giant needle in my spine doesn't thrill me, but I'll cross that bridge when I come to it! LOL!
We went to Montreal on our honeymoon, and it was wonderful! I highly recommend it to anyone who wants a really unique travel experience. Old Montreal was unreal! Beautiful old buildings and cobblestone streets and more little bistros and cafes than you can count! We even took a guided horse & buggy ride through the streets! We were married in November, so all the stores were just getting geared up for Christmas by the time we got there. It was truly lovely. We live just outside of Toronto, so we were able to take the train to Montreal. Very relaxing.
Thanks for the walk down memory lane! These questions are so great!!
Best of luck to you!

1. It was ivory with beading on the bodice, sheer sleeves with lace appliques and a plain, a-line skirt with a short train. I loved it!!
2. We talked about the fact that we both wanted children when we first started dating, so it was just a matter of deciding when to try after we got married. My husband wanted to wait at least 6 months after we got married to give us time to settle in and get used to the two of us and our new life together. He was wise! We started at about 8 months, and I'm on cycle 2.
3. Choclate. Is there any OTHER food??? LOL!
4. Yes, I have one older sister (she's turning 36 next month). My Mom had two miscarriages so there would have been four of us!
5. I am a freelance writer, so I'm hoping to be able to work from home after we have a baby. My Mom was a stay-at-home Mom and that's what I want (if possible) for our children too.
Thanks Claire! Best of luck to you!!

Hmmm, the best place I've ever gone on vacation is probably my Grandparents cottage. It was like a wonderland when we were kids. My sister and I spent hours playing in the sand and in the forest, as well as swimming, reading, making treasure maps...you name it! In 1976 (I was 6 at the time) my parents and my Grandparents created a "mini olympics" for us. It was too cool! They had all these "events" (like darts, relay races, ring toss -- tee hee!) that they ran. They even made paper medals for us! I guess they were bored and though they'd have some fun too!
Sigh. There's no kind of fun like cottage fun when you're a kid!
If I could go anywhere in the world it would probably be Ireland. I'd like to stay in castles and visit little local pubs and really get the feel of daily life. How cool!
And hey, yes -- we should get together! Our place is at Bronte and Dundas, so Trafalgar is just a hop away! There's a plaza at Dundas and Trafalgar with a bunch of little restaurants -- we could meet for coffee! E-mail me when you're planning your dog food run and we'll pick a date and time!
Thanks for the questions!!

I'm glad we waited until we did -- but now I want a baby immediately!! LOL! If only it was that easy...
Anyway, best of luck to you! I hope your stay here is short and sweet!
