Sorry if this post title is rather crude, but on those expensive ovulation predictors that you still pee on, do you still need to reduce your liquid intake and try not to pee for 3-4 hours?

I do everything at the same time first thing in the morning. I break out my little dixie cup to pee in. Then I can just dip the OPK and the FM test stick in at the same time. And if you do it the first pee then you don't have to worry about holding it because you slept through it. If you don't want to use your FM until later in the day then yes you will need to hold it to get a decent concentration of the hormones in your body just like any test that requires urine. Good luck!

Well, my clearblue easy fertility monitor requires me to use first morning urine, so as soon as I wake up I pee and dip my stick. :P Then I can drink as much water and pee as often as I want during the day.

I got Internet cheapies that didn't specify hold you pee but did say to use it later in the day. The three months I've used them, I've gotten clear results without stopping my fluid intake. I just make sure that I haven't peed too recently (with my job, it's not terribly hard, I'm running all day). Usually right when I get home from work. Good luck find something that works for you.
