Hello everyone! Let me start off by telling you my story:

Me(23) DH(45)

Trying to conceive: 9months

Started clomid due to getting off the pill in Sept and only having 2 periods between Sept and May.

Was put on provera to bring on period, 50mg of clomid (day 3-7), Estriadol( day 8-12), and Prometrium( 18-BFP or AF). It has been an emotional roller coaster, yesterday, was having lunch with DH and just burst into tears (not really sure why, just on the verge for most of the day). Last night I started the prometrium and 30min later felt very drunk! Just made me feel super yuk. I'll make sure to take it as

Well I can say that the emotions are certainly related to the clomid, I had my own "clomid freak" yesterday as well, the increased hormones can really put us on edge! As for the other one making you feel drunk I'm not sure why you might want to ask you Dr. about that one, I do know that one day my clomid did make me feel like that though, very very dizzy.

Guess What!? This morning I used my ovulation stick and it looked like I O'd(the nondigital are kinda hard to read) then a few hours later, I used my digital ovulation stick and it had a SMILEY FACE :) !!!! Day 19 and I o'd! Thank goodness! Absolutely thrilled! Hubby and I BDed last night and the last three nights (we were told to do it every other night, but the other day I felt twinges where the ovaries are and made me think that I had, but the sticks said no) we will now do it again! Yay! Thank you for responding, its nice to have someone to talk to about this, everyone I know don't even want kids right now, let alone talk about it. Baby dust to you too! Keep me updated as well! Have you ever tried OPK's? How long have ya'll been trying?

Like the PP said, the emotions are probably related to all the hormones going on in your system due to the amount of medication you're on.

On my first Clomid cycle I did not O until CD 25. It was *very* frustrating. The Dr upped my Clomid dose and the next cycle I O'd on CD 21, then on CD 18. It worked a little better each time. I did get + OPK's, unlike the PP.

It's important to remember that your Dr started you at the minimum dosage and there's a chance it may not work. Are you going to do CD 21 bloodwork to confirm O? If not, I would call the Dr and ask for it. Otherwise how else would he know whether or not he needs to up your dose?

Do you only take OPK's to confirm O? Do you chart as well? Sometimes OPK's alone are not enough. I would really recommend charting your BBT so you know what's going on with your cycles. HTH!!

Thanks ladies! I had called my nurse for my Dr. and asked about an ultrasound or Blood work to verify ovulation, but she said that they don't do that. She said that in my second cycle they might do something like do and ultrasound, but I need to call her because I was confused about the reason that they didn't do it until then. Something about I don't want to do it now because I might not be able to do it when I need to, I guess she was refferring to insurance maybe. I do need to start charting, I had started before, but my cycles didn't seem to end and i got frustrated. Now that it is regulated with the clomid and other hormones, I will get started with the next cycle. Can't wait until I can test!!! Oh, and I chart starting day 6 and continue until I Ovulate, which today is the first time that I have EVER been able to see it happen, still really thrilled!
