Hi Ladies,

I went off the bcp on august 2nd and got my first period 36 days after my last menstration, when should we ttc?How do I know when I o without doing bbt?My last two pregnancies,I used bbt and wanted this time to be less "planned".I had a short luteal phase both times before, will this be true now?

Help,please!!! ttc#3Barbra

Have you thought about OPK?

They will give you a 24-48 hour window for ovualtion.

If you want to a little more "unplanned," take 36 minus the # of days in your LP, and that should tell you when to BD (and start the BDing a few days earlier than that for best chances). This, of course, assumes a consistent 36 day cycle, which may not be the case.

Another way to go about it more casually - no temp charts and pee sticks - would be to just keep a close eye on your CM. After AF leaves, your CM will progress from dry to sticky to creamy to wet eggwhite quality. Just make sure to BD when you've got your most fertile CM (the eggwhite).

Yes, if you had a short luteal phase before, you'll most likely still have it now.

Good luck to you!
