Yes its perfectly fine My doctor encouraged it and I was pregnant at the time said it doesnt effect anything at all so I did and they say to follow the same rules when ttc as you would if your pregnant. Hope this helps and good luck to you.
I am supposed to get a flu shot for work..I went to get it and I told them I was TTC and they wouldnt give it to me..they said they do NOT like to give them in the first 3 weeks of pregnancy..I was thinking to myself well geez most ppl don't even know they are pregnant yet..but anyways I did not get one.
Yes you can. I got my flu shot just a few weeks ago. I have to get one every year, two if I get the first one early to prevent me from getting pnuemonia. Hope this helps!
The flu shot is the only vaccine I know of that is actually RECOMMENDED for pregnant women. However, I think this is a fairly recent recommendation (since 2006?) so it's possible that not all health care providers have caught on yet.
Hi Steph,
You can get the flu shot however if there is a chance you are pregnant you shouldn't get the mist.
