Frequent night waking
8
Tue, 09-16-2003 - 5:15am
I slept at 10:oopm yesterday. Woke up at 2:00 then at 3:00am this morning and wide awake. Took my temp at 3:00 and it was 36.77C, down from 36.96C . I usually take my temp at 6:00am but can't seem to go back to sleep. I've been waking up in the middle of the night frequently for the past week but was always O.K. to fall back asleep. I mean what is that all about?!?! I am so upset my temp has gone down, I feel slightly crampy. Guess AF is coming soon. This is not my month:(. I am sooooooooooooooooooooo sad !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I had such high hopes for this month.

Thanks for listenning,

Dim

I think your chart still looks good. Temps are still rather high. Did AF arrive? If not, I'd say you're definitely still in the game. Good luck and heat vibes!

I feel your pain, literally I do! This week I've been up every two hours but I blame that on my noisey neighbours who don't appear to ever sleep and argue ALL night long! Anticipation will keep you up too, you may want to try relaxing more before you go to bed. If you have any oils around spray some lavender on your pillow or put a little in you bath. Make sure you're totally relaxed before you jump into bed and have everything you need (glass of water, tissues etc...) right handy incase you need anything so you don't have to get out of bed. Beating insomnia is hard to do but you can do it!

Like Becky said, if your temps are still high then your still in the game - don't get to down just yet.

GL and sleep tight! sunny :)

Insomnia was one of my first pg signs! Not to raise your expectations or anything, but you could be looking at a bfp. Do you have to pee when you wake up? That was the case with me. Btw, I'm at 11 weeks now, and I'm still waking up at least once and usually twice in the middle of the night.

GL to you!

Is waking in the night really a sign? I've did that the past couple of nights, and I have noticed more of an urgency to go pee first thing in the morning. Usually I fix the coffee pot first, but not these past few days. And I've noticed I wake up hungry and normally, I don't eat until lunch. I don't even think about food until late morning....hmmm? And lately too, I'm going to have some version of chicken or tuna salad two if not three times a day. ...and I don't even like tuna or chicken salad!? Usually, a can of tuna can sit in my kitchen for months! But for over a week now, I've eaten one of the two every day. I understand pregnant women should limit tuna on accout of the mercury content. But I eat my quota and then switch to chicken. mmm, good stuff. Makes me hungry. ....I'm not obsessing though..not a bit...hee, hee... Amanda 11dpo

I do wake uo @ night to pee but I always do that. I don't think that's a sign for me .

These times I wake up but can't go back to sleep... I am sleep deprived now .I sleep around 4 hours a night for the last week or more.

Thanx,

It definitely CAN be a sign. But like all the other pg signs, it can also be a sign of something else. Sigh, I know it's frustrating!

Good luck to all of you! And, yes, limit yourself on that tuna just in case. I hear that the canned stuff has less mercury than the fresh, though.

Dim, you chart still looks great! And as one other person has said, insomnia is one of my first pregnancy signs. I have had it as early as 8dpo. Good luck!
