So...Since we started tryn to have a baby every month is like an battle with myself. Waiting around to see if I will get my period or not. I always get so upset when I do because we want to start our family. I have tried alot of different things and ways to help it along but nothing seems to work yet... I didnt the fertility ad and it messed me all up so after a month I had to stop using that. This month I went online and order preseed and 100 O test. I was told to use all that plus some cough med to thin out my lining and keep my legs up for 30 mintues after BD. Hopfully is works.

I wanted to get on here and talk to other women that are trying to. My husband has been a big help but theres just somethings he dont understand. Its all ways nice to share with some one that understands what you are going throw. thanks, KC

Welcome, KC! This board is full of support and understanding women. :) Trust me, if DB had to hear about my OPKs and temps and CM all day... he'd go nuts! As if I don't drive him crazy enough already. ;) So, welcome. Where are you at in your cycle?

Welcome to the board! You'll love it here! I started on this board when I was trying for my 3rd, came back when trying for my 4th and met the most fantastic group of ladies over the 10months that got me through. :) We're still friends!

Here's my advice on some things to try...After 10 months of doing just about anything, the last few really helped me. Definitely go with OPKs, they are fantastic and I preferred the digital (you can get the Clearblue cheaper on Amazon than in stores) because it took the guess work out of the silly little line. Green Tea twice a day from AF to the positive OPK helped with CM. I wasn't a fan of cough meds but that's just me. I also was on Prenatals and took baby aspirin (not for everyone) to help with blood flow to the uterus. Preseed was used in my last two cycles, last cycle being my pregnant cycle. It's great but test the amount of what works for you. I think it says to use too much so we used the bare minimum which was perfect. I'm also a believer of charting your cervical mucus and position throughout your cycle. :) Oh and you don't have to keep your legs up but just put a small pillow under your hips so it gives a little help but doesn't pool behind the cervix if too high.

Anyway, good luck! :D

Hey.... yeah my DB thinks its graeat for me to be talking to other women instead of him. Im on cycle day 12 but havent started using my OPK yet just got them today. I think it will be best if I want til my next cycle to start using unless by chance I get my BFP instead. Im just now learning how to track my cycle and stuff like that. Before I just did the BD and hoped it would work but hasnt.

:smileyhappy: thanks so much for the advise and I will start using a pillow asap instead of putting my legs up.

I've been trying for a couple of months now with the OPK's, I have now moved onto the OP Monitor which I managed to get off eBay for half the price they were selling them in Boots, I was on the implant before which was taken out end of March when we decided to start trying and know how frustrating it is waiting around for the time of month, I am now waiting for Ovulation, should be due in a couple of days then I have the two week stint to see whether I get period which I hate and it never gets any easier does it! I just hope it happens soon as I haven't exactly got time on my side, I'm 32 in Feb!

I know it is very frustrating. I wish you the best and just keep faith that it will happen soon. That's what gets me by each month.
