I found out over the weekend that my DH had to go out of town today. :( My HSG dye test was originally scheduled for tomorrow, but thankfully they let my bump it up to today so that DH could watch DD while I went. It was really painful, but fortunately it was over with quickly. It wasn't too bad until the Dr. filled the balloon after the catheter was inserted. It felt like a 5 minute long contraction. Ow!! Once it was over I didn't hurt anymore. I haven't had any cramping since, but there's definitely been some bleeding.
The good news is that the results were completely normal; no scarring or blockage from the c-section. It looks like it's just DH with the inferility problem. His SA showed that he had 99% abnormal sperm. I've done some research about how to improve the quality of his sperm. I found that vitamin B12, zinc, selenium, and anti-oxidants are all very good for improving the overall quality of sperm. We're also tyring to fix his diet (especially when he's on business trips). Hopefully we'll see some improvement when he has his follow-up SA next month. Please keep us in your prayers. Thanks so much!!

Ouch! Sorry to hear it hurt like that, but YAY for good results.
You know, I was reading this blog by a fertility doctor the other day and he talked about doing certain procedures to get a woman pg with her husband having the abnormal morphology. I bet you have looked this stuff up already...but basically there is hope for you to get pregnant...I know that these procedures are really expensive though. He did mention one woman though who got pregnant naturally tho, even with that sort of problem. And I too have read really good things about the supplements you mentioned for sperm.
One thing he mentioned repeatedly when talking about SA results is that they should be repeated if you get a result like that. You have to make sure.
I'm really glad everything is fine with you :)
Now you can find a way, build a plan to get pg.
I'm really worried that I eventually have a scar from c-section, but I'm not obcessing over it ;) It can happens? If so, what are the consequences of it?
I'll try for a few months and If no pg results till feb I'll ask for some test myself.
For sure a wise and well informed gal like you will find a way to get things done.
Good Luck
Lua
That's great!
