Please Help! I'm trying to figure out when I o'd or will O this month.

I have a 30 day cycle and I'm on cd 21.

On monday cd 16 I had tons of ewcm and thought that was right timing for O, but it never dried up, it stayed slippery (not alot) all week. My cp was also higher throughout the week than it was on monday. And I've been crampy all week.

Now today it is ewcm again, so I would think that I will O today or tomorow.

Isn't that a little late for O? My LP will only be like 9 days. Is there something I can do now to lengthen my LP before it's too late?

What do you guys think of all this????

Please tell me anything!!!

Thanks so much I'm starting to freak out.

Lisa

It's definatly hard to say without seeing it. I would suggest you go to fertilityfriend.com or one of the other charting sites and use it just for cm and cp. I didnt start charting my temps regualarly until this month, so I know how you feel. But it will tell you with just cm when you are most likely fertile. I think personally you've already o'd, day 21 is way late if you have a thirty day cycle. If I saw it all written out I could probably guess the day, but its hard to say without seeing.

Good luck!

Is there a reason why you would have ewcm after you've already O'd?????

Thanks, Lisa

We can have EWCM even after we have O'ed because we might have a surge of estrogen sometime in our luteal phase. The estrogen causes the CM to thin out and give the appearance of fertility; it does not signal recurring fertility in that cycle.

It's also possible to have EWCM a few days after O - it's different for each of us. For most women the dryup will be right away the next day. This cycle my EWCM didn't dry up until 1-2DPO.

Good luck to you!

I would love to be able to help but you know what?, my BBT hasn't changed, it's hard to figure out that thing about the mucus, specially knowing that we have been BDing a lot which can make the thing trickier and also it can alter the amount, texture, etc. (I read that in a book)... So I went and I bought OPKs... and finally it looks like I got a positve result today... I think we should take advantage of technology... (even though I still measure my temperature, etc, because it makes everything more exciting, but I rely better on the OPKs...) Hope that helps! :)
