Hi everyone!
I am on CD25 and I am slightly irregular--between 26-29 day cycles. I have been pregnant twice before (but none successful), and have felt many of the same symptoms this month that I did then. Constipation, crampy, swollen bbs, sore and bleeding gums, headache --all that. Well I came down with a sinus infection this weekend so finally I went to the doctor today---I also needed bloodwork because I am getting married in 12 days :). I had taken a test this morning and it was negative but I coud have sworn that i could see a little outline of the second line ( how many of us have held the test in a million different lights trying to see if there is ANYTHING to give us a little extra hope). So I went today and she couldnt put me on antibiotics until she knows if im pregnant. So she did a bets test with my bloodwork. I cam ehome and bought a more sensitive test to see if it was positive and there was nothing :( Now I feel hopeless.

I will have my beta results by 11am---will they definitley be accurate seeing as im 11-12dpo?
I feel like I am giving up again this month---but I want to hold on.
Any words of encouragement?
Meghan

First let me say how sorry I am for your losses, and congratulations on your marriage!!! :)
A quanitative hcg or otherwise known as a Beta HCG will tell you how much HCG your are producing. For example if your beta comes back a 10, you are pregnant. I think anything over a 5 is considered to be a positive. However, most early home pregnancy tests only register HCG starting out around 20-25. So you may have a negative at home test, but a positive blood test.
I was 10 dpo on Sunday and had a very faint, needed a magnifying glass faint line to really see it. However on Monday being 11dpo my beta was 71.4 and then at 15 dpo it was 667.
HTH and GL to you.
Logan
Isn't that weird? I want to know so badly, but I am terrified to find out. sigh.
My last pregnancy I didnt get a positive reading until 13dpo.
but then hcg rose at normal rate.
I re-looked at everything and it possile that I am anywhere from 8-12dpo. But I read somewhere that hcg should be able to detect at 7dpo---is this true or just hearsay?
Logan thatnk you so much for the info :)
