Help!

It's me again :)

So, I am confused... and nervous and could do with even more advice!

I posted pics yesterday of two tests I took yesterday. Both showed faint lines (which appeared within the alloted time of the test). People seemed to be able to see those lines and thus my DH and I were affirmed in what we had seen. But in the early hours of this morning I took a digital test and got a BFN. boo.

So, this morning - very early still - I took another test and it again showed a line. This time it was darker and I didn't need to squint. Indeed both DH and I can see it from far away... So I'm terribly confused and a little scared that three tests are incorrect. While the tests are the same brand (target generic version of First Response) I bought them at different times in different states... which makes me think that surely they cannot all be faulty. I used the same tests last cycle and they were definite BFN.

My temps also are looking okay, I think.. But I would love feedback. FF indicates a possible triasphic (sp?) shift around CD 22 (8dpo). Since this is my first month temping I'm not sure if this is unusual for me.. I attached another pic or two of the test this morning. It's bright and sunny in the room I took it so it may not show up as well as it does in real time.

mercy, this is just so stressful!!

I certainly see a line! How soon did it come up? I am kind of in the same boat as you. I have taken 4 test and all have come back with a very faint line but they show at about 2 mins and then get darker by 10mins. This morning I took one and the faint line showed up and then after a few more mins a darker line showed up. I'm not sure what's going on! It's frustrating isn't it?? But you aren't alone!

Sorry to hear you're in the same boat, Kendal. it's really very frustrating. I think the lines all appeared quite quickly. The one this morning is much stronger, I think, than the ones yesterday and you can even see it some distance away.

I guess I'll have to wait to take another test... I don't want to do another digital, though!!!

Baby dust to you,

OH I hope it is a BFP fo r you BUT I strongly urge you to try another test! I have had countless lines just like that from those tests and was indeed totally NOT PREGGO!!!!! It a shame they are still selling them! Please please please try an FRE or Answer brand with FMU or hold it for a bit .......I pray for you the lines are true!!! Good Luck!

I still definitely see the lines! I would wait a few more days then you can retry the digital. I Don't like digitals because they just don't seem to be as reliable but that's just me and what I've heard. All your tests look ++ so keep the faith and hope. Good Luck!! :)

It is recommended that you use a pink dye test as the blue dye tests often show evaporation lines that are easliy confused with BFP lines.

Thanks so much, everyone

I have to tell you that I am just so miserable about it. I have been googling evap lines for the past two hours! The only solace I have is that I read the test well within the alloted timeframe. I mean, is it possible that these tests are just complete duds? I used them last month and received clear BFN. I used one left over from last month and then another batch yesterday PM and this AM.

I'm really sad about it. Ha, and very cranky too :)

Thanks for all your feedback, girls, it really helps to get some other perspectives.

I recommend trying a different brand of test too.

Thanks so much, Charlene. It does look remarkably like mine!!! I did, though, test with a First Response test... I've attached the pic. It is very faint in the pic but IRL you can see a faint line from a distance - and at all angles :) Its also not blue dye.... I read the test well withint the time alloted... I am hoping that it's not humanely possible to get four evap lines in two days with different testing brands.

What a roller-coaster this is. If it turns out I am not pregnant, I am going to resign myself to NOT testing before AF is late in future months!!
