Hello! I am hoping to be discussing here soon! I have two beautiful children and want a third--BAD! DD is 6 and DS is 4. I am 33, but DH does not want another child (I think he does but wont admit it just yet). Anyway, I stopped BC and told him after many discussions. It is now up to him to prevent it or make it happen. Hope to be talking to all of you soon!

We all look forward to having you here!! :) I remember having the same conversation with DF many many times before he finally caved in and gave me the ok to stop my pill. I often thought about just stopping it and telling him that its up to him to prevent, but after thinking about it....its soooo much better when both parties are on board with this idea. Think about how crappy its gonna be to not be able to talk to DH about your progress, or when you do tell him you might be pg, you may not get the response you are hoping for from him. I don't mean to lecture you or anything...but it is a good idea to give him time to decide if he is ready for #3! :)

good luck!!

I understand what you are saying:) My sister had said the same things. Believe me I don't plan on getting pregnant without him on board. But, I do have to stop the pill a couple of months before we start trying. So, that is where I am.

I stoped taking my pill, and we started TTC right away! There have been many women that come on this board that have gotten pg their first month off of BC, so you don't necessarily have to stop your pill now in order to be ready to ttc when DH is finally on board...its up to you either way of course...but not necessary!

good luck and I hope to see you posting here soon :)

I understand that. I also understand that you are trying to help. I have had a m/c before so, I would want to be off for a few cycles as per doctor. I understand too that I could get pregnant even if we are not planning on it. I went off the pill not for any malicious reasons. My husband will just have to buy condoms now or get a vasectomy or something if he does not want any more children. It should not be solely up to me to prevent it from happening especially if I want another child. My husband is not en emotional open your heart about feelings and talk kind of man. I have told him to get a vasectomy in the past and he refuses. I think part of the reason is that he really does want another.
I definitely DO NOT want another unless he does too and admits it. I hope this paints a clearer and better picture of where I am coming from.
