All five tests were neg.I took the last one FRiday.

Well today I bought an Answer ovulation pred. kit and it

showed 2 purple lines with the test line much darker. The

box says this is positive.Has these kits really worked for

anyone, and did you get pregnant?? I am getting excited hoping

this will be the month!!! Good Luck to All!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Annette,

I use the Answer ones all the time and I think they are very accurate. I like them better than any of the others (yes, I got pregnant using them 4 times!!). Do you know if you have ovulated yet this cycle? If you have, a ++ OPK could mean a pregnancy. If you haven't (do you temp? check cm?, these are other signs that will tell you if you are o'ing or not), than you will most likely ovulate within the next 24 hours. I would take another OPK (same one, Answer), tomorrow morning (NOT first morning urine, the next time). Try to hold it for at least an hour. I find that is pretty good at that time of day. Compare the two. It may stay positive for a whole day (I've taken as many as 3 in one day before!). However, you must check other signs to make sure you are ovulating. Good luck! HTH.

Kellie - I have a question for you since you said you got pg. 4 times using opks - you are a pro!!! When you got your positive - when did you bd? I am soooo hoping we timed it right but I'm not sure and can't stand this wait! Here's what we did...

Sun - bd

Mon - positive opk - bd

Tues - bd

I know we probably should've bd'd Wed. for good measure and I would've gone for it again but I think we both needed a break !!! (and now as it turns out, I think I have a uti from bd'ing so much just those 3 times!) I'm really hoping there was enough of the little guys in there from those 3 times to hopefully have met the egg! Let me know what your "strategy" (for lack of a better word) was when you conceived using opks - thanks!!!
