How does FF set coverline?

Anyone know what method FF uses to set your coverline? I have several that are below most of my pre-O temps, and I can't imagine how that's right. I charted before using FF, and always set them just above the highest of six temps pre-O. The only alternate method I've heard is setting it just above the highest temp in the first 10 days of your cycle. FF isn't following either rule, so our O dates don't always agree (and every time I pull up one of my old charts in FF, the O date and cover line change! And so do my O and LP averages). I don't have VIP membership, so I can't ask!

TIA,

Cassie

I am not a FF pro since this is my first cycle using it. But do you think they used your + OPK to predict O and drew the coverline from that?

Sometimes FF follows the FAM method (.1 degree higher than the 6 pre-O temps), yet sometimes FF follows its own method by setting coverline at the average of your 6 pre-O temps. I don't know how it decides to follow one method over the other, but that's what I've noticed so far. I usally just let FF do its own thing, and I draw my own coverline on my paper chart.

So far I've found that I "like" my own, FAM-based coverlines better than FF's. My FAM coverlines seem to do a better job splitting my high range from my low range.

Good luck to you!
