How EARLY is too early......(m)

Has anyone gotten a BFN at 11-12DPO and then gone on to get BFP's at say 13-14DPO? I tested today at 11DPO and was wondering if that's a pretty good indication that this is not our month.
Also, has anyone had experience with the Clear Blue Earliest giving them FALSE POSITIVES? I say that because EVERY darn test I've ever taken with that HPT has shown a positive and then every FRE I've taken immediately after has been negative. What would cause you to have false positives with one ceratin brand of test?
TIA,

Jen
From being here, I have seen many ladies get BFN and then later get their BFP. We tend test early here as we are all so impatient!LOL! It takes a while for the hcg to build up significant levels for testing and 11dpo can certainly be too early. I didn't think Clear Blue gave false +...I thought they were pretty reliable, but if FRE gave neg right after....well....I'm not sure. Did you only take the FRE after the CB? Did you try FRE with concentrated fmu? Hmmmmmm?
GL and +++++++++++++++vibes to you Heather!

I have tested around that time before and still been pregnant. You dont know when you actually conceived as far as the technicalities of becoming preg. So we know that the HCG level doesnt start to rise until after implantation. Do you suspect when that may have happened? I alway test with confirm, its 25. My last pg I tested at 10dpo. It was --- then 2 days later my beta showed 44. So with it doubling every 48 hours or so it wouldnt have been high enough to show.
Good Luck, Lynne
