usually if you have no gotten pregnant by the 6th cycle the docs will go to IUI or IVF (but that is with fertility docs)

Clomid can thin your uterine lining & so 6 months at a time is usually the max.

I hope you don't have to go the IUI/IVF route either...IUI is def cheaper than IVF!!!

Sounds like you might need to get a new doctor!

Hi Jennifer, I have the same concerns as you. I just started clomid this cycle and I'm hoping I O and of course, get my BFP. Have you tried vit B6 to lengthen your luteal phase? Also, I have heard some good things about women getting their BFPs on femara that were unsuccessful on clomid. I actually heard of one couple going through 6 cycles of clomid and getting a BFP on the first cycle of femara. So there may be other options if clomid does not work before IUI or IVF.

I also have look been looking at your charts and I have a question, what time of the day do you take your opks? I had two days of regular opks where I could not see the results because both lines were dark and I couldn't tell if one line was as dark or darker than the control line. Today I took a digital at 5pm and it was negative. Is 5pm a good time? Or do you have another suggestion? I am on cd 14 and took clomid 5-9. I really hope to O soon. Best of luck, hope you get your BFP. I think lots of women get a BFP their 3rd or even 4th round of clomid.
