How long does EWCM last?

I posted on EWCM either yesterday or the day before. I just noticed it, for the first time ever!! I'm on CD 15 and the first day I noticed it is today. I entered it onto FF and it said I'm my most fertile. If I get a neg. OPK tonight should I just assume O is still on the horizon? Last cycle I never noticed any EWCM at all, and O'ed on day 18 or 19. Is it possible that the EWCM can last another 4 or 5 days?

How long does it usually last?

Oh, and I did drink some V8 Splash yesterday. Could that be what did it for me?? If so, that was quick!

It really varies from person to person. Some people have one day, lately I've been having 4-6 days. The V8 Splash probably did make the difference. Get busy BD'ing just in case!

I agree with the pp. Just because you don't get ewcm doesn't mean you won't O, and just because you get ewcm doesn't mean you will O.

I actually noticed it early this afternoon, now it just seems creamy...is it possible to get a mixture of the two kinds, or fluctuate back and forth as you approach peak fertility? I also got a neg. OPK today. I'm just concerned b/c DH has a SA tomorrow, so we CAN'T BD tonight!! But since I got a neg. OPK I guess its no big deal.

It's normal to have several days of fertile CM before finally Oing. I would have EWCM and watery CM for a week or more! It's a good thing to have it for many days before Oing, as fertile CM helps transport the sperm to the egg more easily. The more fertile CM you have the more sperm you will have have waiting for the egg when it finally comes. GL, I hope you see that BFP soon!!

Thanks everyone for the replies.

Since this if my first time ever really noticing any EWCM, and I've had watery this cycle also, I am really interested in what this means. I'm having a hard time this cycle because I'm currently away. We drove from NY to FLA which means my sleeping is off, and I wasn't able to temp yesterday. I temped this morning, but it was 2 hours later than usual because I was up sick during the night, and naturally I got a totally wacky temp. I would discard it but I don't have one from the day before.

I've also been doing the OPKs, all negative. I am currently on CD 18. Last cycle I got a + on CD 18, but I'm wondering this time if my being sick and traveling will delay O. What do you think??

If someone could look at my chart and give your thoughts, I'd really appreciate it.

Nothing like being on vacation to "relax" and STILL worrying about temping and OPKs....
