It's probably best to ask your OB/GYN. A lot of women will tell you it's fine, but I know I have read several articles about your body not being back to normal for a year or more and it can be considered a high risk pregnancy if there isn't enough time in between the two pregnancies. However, I don't have any experience on the topic myself. I'd say, give your OB a call and ask them their opinion. Good Luck
Sorry to break it to you but 10months is way too soon. I had a c-section & it was stressed by my midwife & dr's that we shouldn't even consider trying until she was 18mo. It sucks, I know, because we wanted our kids to be close together. We didn't wait the "full" 18 months & started ttc closer to 16mo...
The risks include uterine rupture, hemorrhaging, hysterectomy, etc. The risks are pretty crazy because your uterus needs to heal or you risk putting not only yourself, but your future baby at risk, as well as your ability to have more kiddos after.
I know many women out there have had c-sections closer together than that without any problems but I wasn't willing to risk it.
I agree with Tammy. Talk with your ob/gyn and get the low down from him/her. Although you can see what other BTDT moms have done, nothing is worth the risk to you or your future baby.
So glad to hear that Angela and Lisa could answer with experience. Definitely talk to your Dr. because it sounds like it's better for you and your future baby to wait. Good Luck!
A friend of mine only waited about a year. She wound up having a placental abruption, delivered 3 weeks early, and lost so much blood that she almost died. So I know it's hard, but I would wait!
A girl I know had 4 healthy babies, 4 c-sections, within 5 years. She's also one of those women that never gets stretch marks and looks amazing running around town with a newborn. I think some people's bodies just bounce back faster than others. (Honestly, though, I never had a c-section, so I have no medical knowledge.)

Hope you can TTC soon though.
Thanks for the input, ladies:)
