If your insurance covers Clomid, you will just have to pay your co-pay. It IS available in a generic (clomiphene citrate); my insurance co-pay for generics is just $10.00, though it may be different on your insurance. For brand-name co-pay, I know my insurance would be $25.00.

If your insurance doesn't cover it, I've heard that five 50mg pills run about $59.00... so if your dose is 50 mg, it will be $59.00 per month. If your does is 100mg it's $118, and so forth.

I had a month where my new insurance wouldn't cover Clomid and had to pay $100 for 5 pills at Longs! Luckily they cover it now so I'm only paying the $10 copay :)

I just recently got a prescription of Clomid from my doctor and Blue Cross will not cover fertility drugs and I ended up paying 25.00 for 5 pills. Pretty spendy, but definitely worth it to have a child. I was on it before and I got pregnant 4 months after using it.

Good Luck!

Clomid will usually run around about $5 a pill or so. If you go to big chains it can be more per pill. But for 50mg it will cost between $25-30. Good luck if your ins covers it. Most insurances won't cover it because it is a fertility drug.
