So I bought the Equate +/- hpt. I have been reading a lot on different brands lately though and found some 'not so good' news about these giving false positives, ect. Has anyone used this brand, any luck? I'm nervous about using it now, however I have found 'bad' stuff about every brand so maybe it'll be okay? What do you think?

I have used it before and gotten BFN which were accurate. Good Luck!

I like the equate tests because they are cheaper than the brand names and I find them reliable. I used them with my last pregnancy and it was accurate. I used them for this pregnancy and had my first + on one at 9dpo, I had my beta drawn the next day and it was only 26 so they are very sensitive ! Also remember some false positives aren't truly false positive but instead chemical pregnancies and by the time some women are able to get in to get b/w the levels have lowered to negative levels. I had that happen once. Good luck to you !
