Positive HPT but could it still be due to hcg shot? I have cramps and low back pain (exact feeling before period)?
I was on Gonal-f and then on cd15 I was given a HCG trigger shot (Pregnyl). I am now cd28, 13dpo (estimated) and for the past 2 days, I have had a positive HPT. The problem is, is that for the last 2 days I have also had cramps and lower back pain (exactly how I feel right before I start my period). So now I am worried that I may have tested too soon and the Hcg is showing up from the shot... When do you think it is safe to assume I am pregnant? Help me please!!
Thank you in advance ladies!!!

p.s. I'm new to this site :)

How dark was the line? I would think that you would be safe to assume it's a BFP at 13dpo if the line is dark but if it's super faint, I'm not sure. When did they say it was safe to test? I'm sure people that have experience with that will answer but I think it's promising. And pregnancy and AF symptoms can be the same!! So I wouldn't count yourself out at all because of that! Good luck!

Both +hpt tests were done with the clear blue digital... When I pulled the stick out, today's line was definitely darker than yesterdays. Thank you for input Helene2006! :)

I don't know anything about the shots, but it seems that you must be pg.

The general rule of thumb is 10 days. However, some suggest waiting 14 days to ensure all of the HCG is out of your system.
