Do you think HPT's from the internet are accurate? I bought the little dip stick tests and they were under a dollar each but I'll buy the expensive ones if I have to. Anyone know?

Angie..

I have a medicine cabinet full of the internet HPT's as well.. I've only gotten BFN's with them, but I did buy FRE's this month too, and haven't gotten anything positive with them either...

There are some older discussions further down the boards about them, and some women say that they continued to get BFN's with them, and BFP's with over the counter ones...

No hard facts either way though, but there does seem to be a lot of doubt about them..

lots of luck

i've heard lots of people who got them offline, and they work fine~ i wouldn't be surprised if Doctors' offices actually go through those companies.

they measure at 20mlU, which is nearly the most accurate you can get, without a blood test~

so, if it says it's BFN, take another one, like you normally would, and try not to think it must be the test who's wrong. you can always confirm with your OB, if you don't believe it's right.

good luck hon!

the internet tests work just fine with me. bec is right they detect 20miu and are the best you can buy. they do require close attention to instructions but for the money they are worth it. who cares if you end up screwing it up or losing one or wasting a tests. you can take several and not feel ripped off. i suggest the inetrnet ones. i purchased from www.freepregnancytests.com
