Welcome to the board! I"m sorry that you've had such a tough time getting pregnant. I wanted to pass along some information to you.

First off, you might want to get a second opinion about the possibility of PCOS, from what you are describing it makes me think it could be an issue. The following link talks about some of the tests that they can run. Without knowing how your doctor came to her decision, it hard to say: http://www.ivillage.com/polycystic-ovary-syndrome-pcos/exams-and-tests/4-y-99802

I looked up some information on chlamydia, and it does say it can cause problems if it was not treated right away. I'm not sure how they can tell if you have damage from it: http://www.ivillage.com/chlamydia-1/4-o-88425

I think a good start for you would be to chart your basal body temperature to see if you are ovulating and to get a picture of your cycle: http://www.ivillage.com/basal-body-temperature-bbt-information/6-a-144562 You could also use ovulation predictor kits to determine if ovulation is coming.

One last thing to mention is that you might want your SO to have a semen analysis done, it's not always the woman's problem.

I know it's very hard and frustrating when everyone around you is getting pregnant and you aren't. (((HUGS)))

hello!! is it you?? have you been with the same man for those 5 or 6 years?? could it be him?? and last, dont give up hope. if you cant get pregnant on your own, you could always adopt. i have a cousin that was a foster mother for 2 years-and she just recently adopted the lil boy she was fostering. she was raising him for a year and a half before adopting him. he will be 3 in june and thats her lil man. it doesnt matter that her dna isnt part of him-hes her son. she was offered another baby-a girl who had no name, no history-the mother gave birth and gave her up-my cousin just didnt go for her because she had the lil boy and she didnt think she could handle 2 babies at once. im sure theres babies like that in other cities, in other hospitals...you could always go that way-biology doesnt make a mom-mothering makes a mom. hang in there-something will happen for you eventually. take care!!!
