I have no idea whats going on...

Can someone tell me if it is plausible for your cervix to be open before ovulation? The other day I checked kind of on a whim and I don't check frequently which may make it hard to tell if it's related to O or not...Anyhow I immediately noticed how open it was but I can't tell you if it was particularly high or soft(although it was softer then the tip of your nose). I didn't pay too much attention because in my experience, I've never O'd before CD16-18 and this was more like CD 13...So now I'm wondering if I already O'd. Now I'm low and firm again. Also if I haven't maybe I'm going to O later because I'm at CD 16 now? I'm so confused. Shame on me for not paying attention to Temps and Cp before and now overanalyzing something that I can't compare!:smileysad:

I don't know but what I've read is...

It's open during ovulation, but it can be for several days. If you've already had children, it will be a bit more open than a woman who's never had children. I've read some woman say it's open for almost a week, but others can't tell at all. Cervix height seems like a better indicator. If it's still high, keep BD! If it drops low, you've probably already ovulated.

By the way... I can't tell big differences in position day to day. I can really only tell immediately before AF because mine drops, and during pregnancy because it's hard.
