I have a silly question

Hi everyone,
I have a quick, question for you all. Im probably being paranoid, but I have an appointment with my gyn tomorrow morning and she wants to do a papp (joy oh joy). Im about 5 dpo and Im wondering if it can prevent implantation should it be wanting to occur?
Better yet, could implantation already have occurred? Could she tell yet if I am pregnant? Chances are Im not and that Im not GOING to be this cycle since we've been ttc#1 for about 1 1/2 years with no luck, but we bd'd almost everyday befor O, and I just have this feeling...
Thanks so much in advance for all of your input. Good luck to everyone!!!

~please excuse my silly questions, but I've been wondering since my temps confirmed O...

No a pap will not prevent implantation. Many women who are pregnant are often given paps if they haven't had one in the last year, so there is no danger to the baby. It's possible, but highly unlikely, that implantation has already occured. It usually occurs 7-10 days after fertilization. Hope I was of some help!

Thanks for the input! I know it was a bit of a dumb question, but I never really thought of it before...
Its so nice to have a place where you can have your questions answered (silly or otherwise)and not be judged or laughed at.
Wish me luck tomorrow - beside the pap I also get my blood tests results back plus dh's SA results - Im REALLY starting to get nervous...
