My LP isn't so hot. It's been 11, 12, and this last time 8 days. Now, that 8 day one could certainly have been a fluke. We'll know at the end of this cycle, I guess! I have read that many women have lengthened their LP by taking B6 vitamins (a B complex that has at least 50mg of B6). You can start out low, w/50mg, and work your way up. However, one thing I haven't found out, is: once you're pg, do you stop taking the extra B? Does anyone know?
I understand that many doctors don't think B6 does anything for you. But I've read many positive experiences about it. I'd just like to find an alternative to drugs on this one. If B6 doesn't work for me, I'll try it in combination w/a progesterone cream, maybe. But if anyone has any insight on this, I'd love to hear it!
TIA!

Looks like women do take it during PG. I would have to look at my prenatal pills to see how much is in there. There is a risk of over doing it. I would ask my OB, I do have an appt and I will add it to my list. Although there is not an issue with a 10-12 day LP. HTH

Anyway, that info helped a LOT. I now have some ideas I can go to my dr. with. Thanks again!
