I stink at charting - now what?

We started trying in November - I came off the pill mid-cycle (yikes), but I think I'm finally back on track. I was on the pill for 9.5 years, so it's been a long time since I'd been au naturel. The half-dozen or so times I missed a month of pills, I'd have pretty noticeable EWCM every time, so I wasn't concerned my fertility.
I started trying to chart in December but it's not been going well at all. Just can't seem to get accurate temp readings at the same time of morning. I have very scant EWCM these days and I've never had a positive OPK, although I may just be using them too early. I hope trying to figure out O isn't making things worse?
Working 7 days a week could be taking a toll on my fertility, not to mention what it does for BD opportunities. Can't wait until April 15th is here...
Anyway, just had to vent about how something as simple as taking your temp at the same time every morning is much harder than it sounds, at least for me.

Hey there,
I just wanted to offer you some virtual {{{hugs}}}.
Hang in there! Are you an accountant? My DH is, so he's working 12 hour days and then comes home to BD. Talk about exhausting!
If you are using OPK's and think that you're using them too early in your cycle , I wouldn't stop, I would keep using them until I got a +. I have long cycles and it does get expensive. If you know you never O before day 14 or whatever day, wait until then to start using the opk. One thing I learned after scouring the internet, the best time to test for your opk is around lunchtime or early afternoon.
