I'm BACK!! Give me your updates!

I feel so totally out of it from being away for a WHOLE week!LOL! I had a great relaxing vacation and was able to put things into perspective. I "o"d over the holiday without any bd-fest so I am officially "ON HOLD" until further notice. I will be posting sporadic updates in the Ladies on hold from TTC folder until I'm back in action. For those unaware of my testing, my hsg showed a deformed uterus which makes implantation near impossible and if it does occur, will more than likely result in m/c. TTC 2 1/2 years and 2 m/c's the Dr is sure this has been my problem. I will be undergoing minor surgery to correct it. I'm not sure when the surgery will take place- I have a follow-up visit with Dr for all my final test results on the 9th of Sept so I'll find out more then. Over the holiday I was able to come to grips with the situation and be thankful that now I at least know what the problem is and there is a solution. Look out after that surgery! BFP here I come!

My vacation was a wonderful week in the wilderness of northern Ontario- ahhh! Talk about relaxing! Hiking and swimming and cutting down trees on our future house site. The dogs had the time of their lives! Chasing chipmunks and grasshoppers and swimming in the lake and our beaver pond!LOL! Makes my heart light to see them enjoying life so thoroughly! DH and I needed the time away from TTC with visions of our future life and dreams- it was great.

Sorry to be MIA over this past while- I really needed the break and I hope you all understand. I'm back and eager to find out what I missed. Please post your updates here for me!

Welcome back! I'm so happy to hear you had a great time in Ontario. I've always wanted to travel to Canada. I hear it's perfect!

It's great to have you back!!

Anyway, I got a BFP on Saturday, Sunday and Monday. I'm a bit nervous b/c I'm spotting and had cramps last night. Going to the doctor today at 2pm CST!

Welcome back Tara, you were missed terribly. I'm glad that your vacation went well, and that you got a good break from life in general. Hopefully you will be able to have your surgery soon and will have a bfp before you know it!

Tara,

What a great update. I continue to be amazed by your attitude. I know the surgery will go great and that you'll get your BFP in no time afterwards. I'm also grateful that they were able to give you some answers. And I'm so glad you have your DH and your sweet doggies to comfort you.

I know we have different circumstances, but I can really relate to some of the things you wrote. Sometimes it is really helpful and nice to regroup and breathe easy for a few weeks. I took last cycle off and i feel pretty renewed by it. ((((hugs to you))))

My update: I'm 10 dpo and my chart looks fine. I guess by this point (C11), I hesistate to get too excited about how my chart looks, symptoms, etc -- if you know what I mean. I'm really trying to wait to test -- the last cycle we tried before the hold cycle I must have used about 25 saveontests. I was like a crazy woman, using one every time I peed. Having those huge stacks of cheapies lying around can help that neuroses, I'm afraid!! I still have a few in the cupboard, and a box of FREs too. DANGER! I'm sort of unsure about my O date, so part of what is holding me back from testing is the worry that I'm actually 2 days less far along... does that make sense? Anyway, I'm going to wait until thursday (I swear, I'm gonna!!) when I would be 12 dpo (or 10 dpo worst case scenario). I have a feeling it will be another BFN. Don't know why, I'm just feelin that way.

Well, dearie, I'm so glad to see you back and doing good. You're a hero to all of us.

Tara, it is so nice to see you posting and what an example you've set for the rest of us. You've come through with faith and a positive attitude about everything and I've no doubt you will achieve that BFP when all is said and done. How wonderful that you and DH had some time to relax without TTC and other worries. See, it's so much better when you KNOW what's going on. Wondering is the worst part of ANYTHING, it's so much better to know so that you can take appropriate action whether it be celebrating, grieving, or creating a plan. Congratulations on your strength, courage and perserverance and God Bless you.

Welcome back, Tara!! I have been very much "delurked" and I must say the board is just not the same without you. I am glad you had such a wonderful vacation. It is probably just what you needed.

I am so sorry about your news, however, I am very impressed with your wonderful attitude and the fact that you still care so much about others. Thank you so much for being here for all of us. We are here for you, too! I am so glad that you have a solution to the problem, and I feel sure that you will be getting a sticky BFP as soon as the surgery is done. I do want to share with you that I once worked with a woman who had taken DES during her pregnancy with her daughter, causing uterine deformity in her daughter. Her daughter had other fertility issues as well, but went on to carry healthy, beautiful, very smart boy/girl twins. I know you will have a success story like this too!!

I am on C3, posting my chart for you if you want to take a peek and tell me what you think. I am hoping it will be considered triphasic?

Welcome back again!

Thank-you Leanne~ you're so sweet! Wow, hon your chart is looking great!!!! That is a fantastic "implantation" dip on cd6- perfect timing all around! It is looking like a different post"o" pattern than the others, and is tending towards triphasic- definitely!!! Mega ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~HEAT VIBES~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~to you! I can't wait to see your BFP!

Hey Tara,

Glad to hear you are back! Your vacation sounds like a dream!!! I totally understand watching the puppies run free in the woods and how excited they get. And how relaxing some time way in nature is!

I am sorry you have to go through this turn in the road....I hope there is some silver lining. I know with my own TTC I am trying to enjoy the journey and cherish the times I have with DH, cause they will change when we are pg and after we bring a little one into our lives.

Hang in there and just know you are getting closer to the BFP!!!

I myself have no idea when I O'd or if I have this month, I got so crazyed up last month it nearly wiped me out financially when I took over 10 BFNs and stressed so much AF was over 8 days late. So this month I am just BD'd like a rabbit and hanging tight, hoping to get the right result but feeling OK if I don't.

Well welcome back to life post-vacation and pre-surgery.

Take care,

madison
