Ok.. This post may contain TMI and if so I apologize :)lol

Last period was on 8/1, I supposedly ovulated on either 8/15 or 8/16... Had EWCM on 8/16 so we made sure to BD on that day... Well yesterday I go to the bathroom and there is a small amount of brownish discharge.. Im thinking ok, AF is coming early.... Well when I went to the bathroom to change tampons (sorry) there was not very much on it, and what was on it was still brown... This morning about the same thing... Not very much if anything.... is this too late to be implantation bleeding, and af is coming a few days early or what...

Thanks

Hi!!!

I am on the same cycle as you with my last one starting on 8/1. I think I O'd on CD17 or 18 and I too am waiting for AF, although she is really not welcome ;)

How long do your cycles usually last? Are you sure that you O'd on the 15, or 16th? From my understanding of the cycle, AF always comes 14 days after O (unless you are pg of course :)), so according to the dates you have given she'd be right on time. I don't want to get you down. I know how hopeful we all get thinking that we might be pg and what you are experiencing could indeed be implantation bleeding, but I always get a day or two of spotting (very light brown discharge not enough to warrant a pad or anything) before AF. I am keeping my fingers crossed for you that you are pg and that what you are having is implantation bleeding.

Sending lots of big (((((hugs))))))))) and positive thoughts :)

Hi, I just had to jump in here to say that AF does not always come 14 days after O. Every woman has a different luteal phase. When I was charting to get pregnant with my ds I had luteal phases ranging from 13 to 15 days. As long as your luteal phase is longer than 10 or 12 (I'm not sure of the number) days then you are doing okay. There is a form of infertility called luteal phase defect that occurs in women whose LP is too short (there is not enough time for the fertilized egg to implant and establish the pregnancy.) From what I've heard, this is one of the easiest infertility problems to treat.
