Infertility Clinic Appointment

I had my appointment at the infertility clinic this afternoon.
The clinic is nice. It's small and although it's in the same building as the maternity unit it's in rooms off to the side, so apart from a shop selling baby clothes you don't see anything to do with maternity.
First we saw a nurse and she asked some questions about my cycle, operations etc, and then she brought the Dr in.
He asked us both questions and they talked to us as a couple, rather than just me.
He said that DH SA was fine, so no problems there.
He examined me and took routine swabs for any infections (DH and I wonder how many marriages have floundered after results come back). He had a good route around, and also felt my uterous and my tummy along my scars.
I feel like I have been prodded in the cervix. Hang on I have been prodded in the cervix :)
So I am to have CD2 bloodwork to test for:
FSH, LH, E2 (Oestradiol), Prolactine, Testosterone, SHBG (sex hormone binding globulin)

PS: Do they do a Pregnancy test before a HSG and does it matter if you are on your period?

Hi Julie,
Congrats on getting started! I hope your hsg is clear. I believe they will plan it after AF and before O for you.
Good Luck!!!
