Hello ladies. I got all freaked out this morning because my pg symptoms had let up and I was afraid I was m/c. So I took my last FRE hpt to make sure I still had a strong line. Well, one line was very dark and the other was extremely light (what I thought to be the control line). I couldn't remember for sure which one was the control line and which one was the result line so I called the company. Well, it ends up that the control line is the line closest to the handle (which is what I though) and if it's really faint then that's a good sign. What happens is that your hcg level is so high that it's pulling from the control line and making it lighter. That's why the result line will be dark and the control line will be very faint. Just an FYI.

That must be great assurance for you and others that want to moniter their pregnancy. I'm sure I'll be doing that as well, when I get that BFP. Thanks for the info!

Do you have the 800 nbr for FRER that you could post? I have a question about a test I took this morning...it took 40 minutes to show anything and only then did it show the control line very faintly.
