I just purchased the fertility monitor after AF came two days early. My chart looked "good" and gave me false hope...I would rather not go that route again (I became too obsessed)..does anyone know if the monitor is good enough to use alone?

thanks,

It is supposed to be, I think. But I really don't know. I just wanted you to know that I read your post even if I can't really help you. I would do both but I get obsessive about everything I do, not just ttc. Good Luck.

ps,

if you have seen the O fairy send her my way, thanks.

What does the fertility monitor do, exactly? I was under the impression that the best "at home" thing to do was the OPK.

I just ordered the fertility monitor too! This month was the first month DH and I started ttc, and I didn't chart this month. I charted back in March for a couple months (before we were going to try) just to get an idea of when I O'd. I think I may chart for this month just to see if it looks as though my O day is matching what the monitor is saying.

I chart AND use OPKs.
