hi Kathy!
Thank you for your input! I was wondering if the Dr. gave you any advice on TTC now that you have had them removed. What was the sugery like? Recovery, etc??
I am sorry to pry, but I am desperate.
Thank you so much!

I'm sorry, I totally missed this post earlier! As far as my surgery, they made such a tiny incision that I don't even have a scar from it. They also went in through the belly button while I was under to check for endemetriosis which I didn't have. The surgery was short, I remember holding my dh's hand one minute and the next I was waking up with the surgery all done. I had it done on a Friday afternoon so that I could have the weekend to recover. DH helped me the following day get out of bed etc and I did sleep most of the next day because I still had the drugs effect on me but by the Sunday, I was up and around and feeling much better. I was back at work on Monday.
I haven't had any ill effects since the surgery and the fibroid has not returned. I was on the pill at that time and continued on the pill until earlier this year. My doc didn't foresee any problems with conceiving once the fibroid was removed if I decided to TTC.
IF they suggest you have surgery to remove it, I would do it if your having alot of AF problems or if they're telling you its blocking the path or they've been watching it and its growing.
Honestly, aside from the inconvenience of actually having one, there is nothing for you to worry about.
Let us know how your next appt. goes!
