Late evening 'o' = late rise in temps?

I hope this isn't a silly question:
All of my signs (except temps) tell me that 'o' took place sometime Sunday between 4pm and 11pm. Here is the evidence:
1) OPK was + starting Saturday evening but was negative by Sunday night
2) I felt INTENSE o pains on both sides starting Sunday at 4pm (had dull pains for the whole day
3) By Sunday night when I went to bed my CP had gone from high, soft, and open that morning to firm, low, and closed by Sunday night
4) CM had dried up by Sunday night

HOWEVER, my temps hadn't risen yesterday (Monday) at my usual 6:00am temp time. This morning they are finally up 3/10 of a degree.
So, my question is do you think that o-ing late in the evening could cause the delay in temps rising (not enough time between actual release of the egg and the morning temp taking to see the rise)?
Am I crazy? Should I go by my temps and say that I'm 1dpo or go by every other sign that I'm actually 2dpo?
Thanks so much for any help!
I know I've had a lot of questions lately.

I'm afraid I don't have an answer for you :( but my thoughts are that if you can tell a distinct change in CP and that it was definitely closed by Sunday night, then I would agree with the 2dpo assessment.
As for the ovulation pains though, I've read that these may not necessarily signal the actual release of the egg, so on that score I would still be unsure of the timing.
Sorry this isn't much help.

Here is your answer. It takes your temps at least 24-36 hours to rise after O. This is why if you wait for a temp rise to BD and catch the eggie, it's too late. You are RIGHT on schedule. I would say you O'd on Sunday and today you are 2dpo.
Good luck!!!!!!!!!

It's possible that I'm over analyzing all my fertility signs and that trying to pinpoint even a block of 12 hours when I think o occurred is a wrong approach. I guess I was just trying to figure out why my temps weren't doing what I expected.
Thanks for your thoughts!

I had never heard of a time frame for when to expect temps to rise. That explains a lot of things!
