LH help

I have been trying to conceive for 6 months now. I take the ovulation predictor test that I buy at the Dollar Store. I take the tests according to when the online calculator/calendars tell me to (based on when my cycle starts and ends). During those days of taking the tests, the LH wasn't positive. Why not?! Does this mean that I can't get pregnant? My husband and I really want a child before he is deployed again next June. We are running out of time. What is the best way to know when to have sex!?!? The million dollar question. Please advise.

Are you charting your temps or cervical mucous? If not, I would start with that. Charting your BBT will help you pinpoint when/if you ovulate. I use fertilityfriend.com for my charting. I could be that you are ovulating earlier or later than you think, or you may not be ovulating at all.
Best of luck!
Just to add to what the pp said - - Not everyone gets a positive OPK even though they ovulate.
