LH surge question

Ok, I know that in most cases, a woman O's 24-36 hours after their first +opk. But does anyone have experience with o'ing later than that? I don't temp so I don't know for sure when it happens for me. All I know is that I've had a very strong positive on my opks starting yesterday morning and still going strong before bed tonight. I know I have a long surge, usually 2 days, so I wonder... If a woman has a longer surge, should they necissarily predict o in that 24-36 hour time frame, or could they o later with that longer surge? I'll have to see what it's doing in the morning... I am just grasping at any glimmer of hope because dh is out of town and won't be back until tomorrow evening. I'd love for my little eggie to wait on him. ;)

Well it's negative now and we probably won't have a shot at bd until tonight. It's gonna be a close call. :(

Thanks for the info! I might need to start temping, but I'm up and down all night either to the bathroom or DD's room. I just figured it would never work for me.

AND, the line's still pretty dang positive this morning. That's a little unusual for me...its usually faded out by now. Hold on little eggie, hold on! Just a few more hours!!! We can do this! :)

I ovulate 24 hours after my second positive...on the digital, my first positive is light on the strip and the next day it is two strong lines and usually the next day it is negative and then I see my temps start to climb the day after that. GOOD LUCK:)
